I suppose my phrase for today is going to be patently absurd. That is kind of how I feel at times. Like to day I was finally hired on as a permanent employee at the company I have been slaving away at for a year now and I very grateful. What is patently absurd about it? Yeah thanks for asking. I just want an iPod and I want to reward myself for actually getting a job but that is absurd. Right I should not be so dang selfish.
Patently absurd.
But then again I am know for that.

Congrats on the job. I totally reward myself for stuff like that. I think you should get yourself something. If it is expensive run it by Karina first, but you should at least go out for a nice meal or buy some music. I plan to reward myself for serving jury duty somehow.

Ryc: I would aggree that Brad and Jen’s relationship must have already been rocky due to the career stress. I can’t imagine. We have enough stress being in the AF. We have to schedule dates and just not answer the phone, because we want our marriage to work. There are several friends of mine that are already divorced and some have been married a shorter period of time. It is sad. I don’t want that for us.
It sounds like you and Karina have a great relationship. I am glad that you found each other! I like hearing the success stories of how marriage is good instead of it always being bad.
