Good Day
by Daine on Nov.15, 2007, under Life
Feeling good day! Thursday is my favorite day of the week, Yeah I have to work and yeah traffic and blah blah blah but Thursdays are good because of the anticipation factor. Friday has long been the favorite, Monday the least favorite and Wednesday the hump and Tuesday who cares and Saturday is king and Sunday is the R&R Sabbath. Thursday is my fave right now because I am still at work and I don’t have to think about all my weekend responsibilities that drain all the life out of me.
Today has so far been a swell Thurs – I woke up to my wife’s phone call late. I had planned to get up and get to my first day with put her and have the tires rotated and the Hood paint looked at again, and be to work by 8 and yeah I pretty much did not get up until 7 when she called. She is out of town shopping in NYC with my kid sister.
So good day any way I got up and cleared the bathroom so the Mold remediation guys could come and rip out another cabinet and set their dryer devise up and “scrub the air”. That is where I am now actually they are switching bathrooms. We had a home inspection as we have owned our house for a year and the inspector found what turned out to be 3 very slow leaks one in the master bath and two in the guest bath. Big deal when there is mold in a place they come right out and get it fixed for you. The bad news is you have to be at the residence the whole time they are there working so your stuff doesn’t grow legs and walk off.
I don’t have anything they could easily carry out a bed and a couch and my new killer chair that I refinished.
Other than that there is not much to walk off with.
Good day over all though. I had lunch with a group of friends at a BBQ joint and it is the perfect weather for that today crisp and cool. I have all the windows open.
The diet thing is going ok. I failed to weigh myself and I apologize. I know you were all just dying to know how much well if it any consolation to you I don’t even know so it is not like I am keeping it from you. An educated guess is somewhere in the 210 to 215 range. I would like to be 190 by Christmas. Cross your fingers and squint that that will happen for me. (That I’ll be able to ‘hold out till the end’) –Steph will get that.
So we are going to do a little series on cool stuff we own Kraptastic krafts I thing is what it shall be called and I will unveil all my stuff I think is cool one by one there and tell a story about how it all came to be.
Ok I am being summoned by a guy wanting me to sign some Mold paperwork. It is like a federal task force these guys take themselves WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. He referred to me as Sir, Mr. Home owner Um (looks down at notes) Mr. Bra-nama-ham. Geeze I feel sorry for the depression of that reading teacher.
Oh and one more thing I listen to NPR like it is is my religeon. You know like I would be a suicide bomber for it, well kind of. I’m its biotch there hows that. and this morning Susam Worthiemer readndomly says today is the birthday of christian rocker David Carr of the band Third Day, he’s 34. i was like wait just a second that is rando and right befor eht ey do a story on how Mit Romney wont be the candidate of choice for evanglical Christians. I actually thought uuut oooh what is happening? then i remembered, NPR is all Jews I am safe. I will have subjective news with a liberal slant or at least a a liberal tone of voice.
Oh and you wanna know what is so good? I am addicted to Blue Diamond Smoke house
Almonds thanks to Josh. They must be dusted with Crack or something. They go down just right with a Sailor Jerry Cuba Libre! Cheers.

So you love BD almonds too! They are only topped by the ones at Wild Oats in the bulk section that are coated with Braggs aminos… YUMYUM but crazy expensive.
Hope K is not shopping at Trump Tower, LOL!
