I am feeling much better. In fact, this was a good weekend. Things went my way, which is sad huh?

My cold is almost gone.

My Boss is being replaced by my friend Roger (this is a very cool deal)

I went for a 6.5-mile hike with my friend James and had a marvelous time on the greenbelt.

Went cd shopping Saturday with my pal Chris. Found a cd I have been searching for a while.

Wished a happy birthday to my friend Zach on Saturday with a party at this Tapas bar. And that part of it was somewhat stressful. Pretty girls just make me nervous now. This place was packed with them, my wife and her friends included. I do not think it is pretty girls that make me nervous. It is just that Last year at the super bowl I was sitting with my friend, who about 30 days later took his life. I think that happiest I ever saw him was when Janet Jackson’s Boob Jumped out and said “Hey ya’ll”. I missed it because I was looking down concentrating on salsa and chips. Dang it.

I left my cell phone at work when I left early on Friday in a haze of sneezing.

Karina and had pizza and stayed in last night watching our shows. Desperate housewives & Greys Anatomy. Hers is the housewives show and mine the Hospital one. It sometimes makes me cry, then we watched About a boy. Great show, Nice evening to be inside with the one I love.

My friend Scott told me to stop dying my hair. Well he did not tell me that but he told me something I cannot tell any one else and it made me so happy. Directly correlates to the song I have on repeat today.

Yeah I am listening to a new cd that is making me want sway back and forth. Herbie Hancock’s new Possibilities is Phenom. It is a load of collaborations with the most unlikely cast. I am not reviewing it for you go here and read some more if you want but let me just say that this is one of those books you should not judge by its cover. That is how my criticisms run, who did this cover art the Prozac people or some older lady whose Fibromyalgia was too much for her so she quit at 3pm and called it a day and sent the art off to the presses with out letting Herbie see it. She did en even ax the butha what or if he was digging it she just sent it Shoo dawg not right, atsswhat I am saying di-ent even ax him.

The rest of the cd is pure delight.

I love to do this thing where I tear a cd up. I leave it in the player so long, then I hate it and I am like “what is this old rap crap? Get Bel-Biv-Devo outta my sight” and then like a year from then I’ll see it stuck out from under the couch and I am like hey I have been looking everywhere for this! Yes the prodigal cd has come home! I want to listen to you and show you how much I love you Be Be Winans by attempting to sing every improvised “oooh” and “yeah” and “say it again”, with the predictability of Christmas.

So I wore the newest ColdPlay cd out like in 12 hours after it was released on to the US market and then I on purpose “lost“ it. Well I found it again today. My favorite song is still twisted logic and I still think Chris Marten is one lucky bastardo being married to my favorite actress.

I have my own feelings about what they named the baby but hey I know first hand that having a jacked up name will screw with a person for the rest of their life, unless that person is to change his name! And by the way my cousin is doing just that. He is going to be going by his middle name and then changing his last name to his mothers Maiden name. Sweet huh? I am now not the only Branham and there for can opt out of kids if I so desire. Sweet. I do want kids but the thought of yellow shit just gives me the willies.
