Right, what would i deem mental slavery? I suppose the thought that the news had me all hyped up that there would be ice and I35 would be closed down and I’d get a day off hanging out at the house. Sitting in the garage and writing post cards and drinking grape juice and eating pickles; But nope! They said it was going to be BAD BAD BAD and all I got was a slow down on a weird section of interstate. Not even a proper t4raffic jam. Due to all the people who watched the NEWS OF ICE STORM 09 and bought it and watched those movies they have had sitting there waiting for a free evening. Watch out net flicks your going to get a rash of send backs from central TX.   So the staying up late watching movies made every one late to work. Except me because I am not a slave to the news and I said to my self yeah right I’ll bet it is nothing!

Been looking for a third car. Donated one and now need another. Been scouting 2000 to 2003 Saab 9’3 Viggens. Id would like a convertible but since I have a kid and it is really so stinking hot here in the summer I am thinking a 5 door is more like it. So keep your eyes peeled.
The Mini is home and ok, but I know in my head that it has been wrecked and my nature is to constantly be picking at it. And the baby riding shot gun is only a problem when you want to take some one other than the three of us need to go any where. I’d deal for now.

OK so i know this makes me a huge dork but the Britney Spears is so catchy, I am sitting here at my desk, thinking is this what my little girl will call oldies?

So there is much to post just no time to do so. i need to start posting from my phone when i am in the john. I am kidding i would never ever do that … or would i?
SO the seaon to be jolly sure did sneak up on me this year. what the heck. i mean we had thanksgiving and that semmed to come fast and then next thing you know we started having Christmas and politically correct “holiday parties”. I was even an attendee for a End of the year celebration. yes we have a guy who is a witness of Jehovah and they don’t do birthdays and or Christmas and or have sex and or any other type of fun as far as i can tell. Lets just say I am glad i don’t witness for Jehovah like that. lord have mercy.
I mean really folks can you imagine a world without coke classic or sweet tea? that would be awful.

Special thanks to Zachary David, my brother from a notha mutha who prettied up the place. I feel all cool and gangster-ish. Or real Ed Young like or Real Josh Singleton like or real JimmyZ’s like or something. I feel like i need a skull screen printed on what used to be a dress shirt and some 4 hundred dollar jeans with an applique on the butt cheek pocket and maybe some swanky dress shoes and some of those big glasses that have a relief of Cesare face on the side in gold baby. Yeah and maybe a gold tooth.

OK i really have to get back to this mind numbing work that pays to keep the heat on.

every one is converging on my house that i am directly kin to. i am so so so excited. I put up Christmas lights to surprise my sister. she will love me for it. My neighbors think i am crazy. I think they need to stop fixing el Camino’s in their drive way and cussing at their kids in the yard. Then maybe I’ll show some restraint.

i have a song stuck in my head. Woke up with it. It was driving me nuts because i could not figure out what the song was. then i got to work and my “PC” (Sarah,James, i know the sun rises and sets but i am not feeling the love for them this a.m.) would not work and i am certain it was not operator error. So i call IT and the guy is like ‘um um um um let me put you on hold.’ and there it was there the song. It has been not just today but for like a week now playing in my head. I thought about “shazam-ing” it to see what it was so i could buy it on iTunes and add it to my mellow yellow play list.

No I think i’ll blog it.

Ok so i used to work at a journeys shoes in the mall. Lesson learned. The “take away” for those of you loving termy terms, – 17 year old kids are difficult to manage.
There was one kid from Odessa, TX who was just super cool, his father was from Odessa as in a state in the Russian break away regions. an di dont undtestand all of that and it is not important to the story other than there was this Half Russian kid from west Texas. He was a big Pink Floyd fan, as witnessed by about every shirt he ever wore to work. All were adorned by some form of their album art.
So then there was this custodian who would always walk in front of our store but never come in. So one day we are chatting about althings Pink Floyd and i said hey the custodian guy looks like one of the guys from pink floyd, He did too man he looked like he could have walked off stage. so you know me i sing out ” Hey You, You out there In the mall walking up and down the hall can you hear me” the Custodian stopped turned around came in the store and we talked for a couple of hours about Pink Floyd. You guessed it he was their number one fan and the kid from Odessa was his new best friend. they were both like man you are really good did you just come up with that “Hey you walking up and down the mall” part? then they introduced me to Russel Simmons Deaf Jam Poetry slam, and i am now hooked on that too.
